Linked In Circus Night!

Come one, come all, the LinkedIn Circus is coming to town! There’s something for everyone – headshots that will amaze you, networking tips that will astonish you, and help with building profiles that will blow employers away!
At the start of this three-ring circus, you can follow along as we walk through how to create a LinkedIn profile. Then, you will rotate between three stations where you learn about different aspects of LinkedIn as a professional social media platform. One station invites you to pose for a professional headshot, which you can use as your profile picture. Once pictures are taken, you will learn how to engage with others on LinkedIn, including what types of content to create, how to make new connections, how to find industry association groups to join, and how to engage with content that others have created in a professional way. Another station will guide you through the process of writing your personal bio, which is your opportunity to get personal and tell potential employers what you want them to know about you outside of the details listed on your resume. The remaining station will walk you through adding information such as your education, work experience, skills, and organizations you are associated with. Finally, a Q&A session will give you the opportunity to check your understanding or ask for details beyond what we covered in the earlier discussions.
