Are you interested in learning how to make large street puppets? Have you always wanted to be in a puppet parade? Or, do you just enjoy arts and crafts?

Please consider joining us to build puppets for a puppet parade that will happen during this year's Lunsford Festival on the upper quad on Saturday October 3, at approximately 2pm. We'll be having three building workshops facilitated by someone from the Street Creature Puppet Collective.

Thursday September 3, 3-6 (place TBD)
Thursday September 10, 3-6 (place TBD)
Thursday September 17, 3-6 (place TBD)

Please feel free to drop in to any or all of them - absolutely no experience required). We'll also need folks to carry the puppets on the day of the festival, so please reach out to me if you're interested in that or if you have any other questions. This event is open to our campus community (students, staff, and faculty), but not the general public.

Additionally: We are looking for some supplies. If you have any of the following that you would like to donate, please let me know:
• Really large pieces of cardboard (like ones that might come from a box for something really big like a bike)
• Latex, water-based, or acrylic paints
• Paint brushes
• Drop cloths
