Details

In 2022, NASA sent tree seeds on Artemis I. The seeds spent a month in space, orbiting the moon twice before returning to earth. Once retrieved, the seeds were used to test effects of microgravity on germination and other plant traits. Beginning last year, educational sites like MHU can apply for a Moon Tree – and we were one of the first sites to be awarded one!

Food Provided (Cake, moon pies, and refreshments will be provided! )
